Concord West Early Years Education and Care Service is an integral part of the Kids@Weldon NFP organisation, conveniently located adjacent to Concord West Public Primary School.
Kids@Weldon are a NFP with an impressive history in providing early years education and care programs to children and families in the Inner West. The longevity of Kids@Weldon illustrates that we are a sustainable organisation that reinvests our resources within our community to continually improve the programs on offer. Our aim at Kids@Weldon is to provide a great education and care program for children. We offer a range of structured and unstructured experiences that are age appropriate and allow children the space to relax and enjoy quiet moments, build friendships while being involved in a choice of activities that promote the acquisition of independent skills, curiosity and learning. We encourage the self- directed activity and exploration of the world we live in through art, craft, drama, indoor and outdoor projects and games. We have an Early Childhood Teacher on staff providing a quality preschool program for our preschool aged children, forming an important part of the transition to school. Our programs are inclusive and offer additional support to children with special rights and needs.
All Weldon Early Years Education and Care programs are licensed under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law. We observe the National Quality Standards and are currently working through the Quality Improvement Process. Our programs are eligible for the Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR).
Our programs are managed by qualified and experienced Directors and supported by a team of educators that are engaged in ongoing professional development and practical training in early years education curriculum and care.
We strive to provide a happy, safe and relaxed environment for children. We believe that building meaningful relationships is key to what we do.We provide education and care for children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years.
